Online Registration and Procedures

Key Dates and Deadlines for Fall 2008

  • Tuesday, September 2nd, 5 p.m.: Section Preference Form opens on-line. Follow the links on http://ual.stanford.edu/AP/univ_req/PWR/Courses.html to view section descriptions and submit preferences.
  • Tuesday, September 16th:  Incoming Frosh will receive their PWR 1 Quarter Assignment.
  • Friday, September 19th, 7:00 p.m.: Deadline to submit Section Preference Form.
  • Saturday, September 20th, 7:00 p.m.: PWR 1 Section assignments are posted on this web page: http://ual.stanford.edu/AP/univ_req/PWR/Courses.html.
  • Saturday, September 20th, 7:00 p.m.:  Petition to Change Section Assignment Form for PWR 1 opens on this web page: http://ual.stanford.edu/AP/univ_req/PWR/Courses.html. When you submit a new petition, all previous petitions are erased. Petition Form will remain open until 3 p.m. Sunday.
  • Sunday, September 21st, 3:00 p.m.:  The PWR 1 Petition to Change Section Assignment Form closes. Results are posted at 9:00p.m. All previous petitions are erased. Petition Form re-opens until 5 p.m. Monday.
  • Sunday, September 21st, 7:00 p.m.: PWR 2 Section assignments are posted on this web page: http://ual.stanford.edu/AP/univ_req/PWR/Courses.html.
  • Monday, September 22nd: Instruction Begins. Attendance at your assigned PWR section is mandatory for all of the first three class sessions. Failure to attend will result in an automatic drop from the section.
  • Monday, September 22nd, 5 p.m.: Petition to Change Section Assignment Form closes. Results are posted at 7 p.m. All previous petitions are erased. Petition Form re-opens until 5:00p.m. Tuesday.
  • Tuesday, September 23rd, 5 p.m.: Petition to Change Section Assignment Form closes. Results are posted at 7 p.m. All previous petitions are erased. Petition Form re-opens until 5 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Wednesday, September 24th, 5 p.m.: Petition to Change Section Assignment Form closes. Results are posted at 7 p.m.  If you still need to change your section assignment, please come to the PWR office (460-223) during our regular office hours.
  • Thursday, September 25th: Students with PWR scheduling conflicts should come to the PWR office in Building 460, Room 223 from 8 a.m.- noon and 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
  • Friday, September 26th: AXESS updated. Current section assignments are posted to the AXESS study list.
  • Friday, October 3rd: FINAL AXESS update. Final section assignments are added to Fall Quarter study lists.
