We offer a variety of workshops, and we're able to tailor workshop sessions for individual faculty members, academic programs, or student groups. Please contact speakinghelp@stanford.edu to request workshops on general speaking skills, effective use of visual aids, or other specialized topics.

On-Going Events

Drop-in Vocal Yoga

Vocal Yoga is a weekly drop-in voice workshop designed to help you get your voice in shape for public speaking.  These sessions are open to the entire Stanford community.

  • Dates*: April 10 - May 29
  • Location: Class of 1968 - 110 (C110) (April 10th in M110)
  • Time: Wednesdays 12:00 - 1:00 PM

*Vocal Yoga is held during fall, winter and spring academic quarters only (when undergraduate students are on-campus)

T.E.A. (Thursday English Afternoons)

Casual English conversation for multilingual speakers. All students are welcome. Come work with a tutor and brush up on your communication skills!

Join us in the Hume Center, Room 102 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. week 3 to 10 and spread the word!
