Lupita Ruiz-Jones is a postdoctoral lecturer in the Thinking Matters program at Stanford University, teaching Freshman biology and environmental science. She received her B.S. in Environmental Studies from Chaminade University of Honolulu in 2009 and Ph.D. in Marine Biology from Stanford University in 2016. Her research focuses on coral biology, with an emphasis on ecophysiology. Lupita really enjoys traveling, swimming, and being in nature.
