Associate Athletics Director
Melissa serves as the Associate Dean in Academic Advising and Associate Athletics Director at Stanford University. She joined Academic Advising as an advisor for student-athletes in August 2013 and was promoted to Director in August 2016. A former Division I athlete herself, she especially enjoys working with talented student-athletes who have a passion for learning. Melissa advises student-athletes on the Stanford curriculum, major selection, undergraduate requirements and policies, and other useful campus resources.
After receiving a degree in Psychology from Harvard University, where she was a member of the softball team, Melissa worked at the Harvard Varsity Club and served as an academic advisor and proctor at Harvard for three years.
