Students are responsible for arranging and paying their own transportation to New York City on Monday, September 3, 2018 between 3 – 5 pm. Reservations have been made for you at the Educational Housing Services Residence at St. George Towers, Brooklyn Heights. 55 Clark Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Students are responsible for their own meals during travel days and for transportation from the airport to the St. George Towers upon arrival. The program will not pay for additional nights of housing before this date.
- When you check in at Educational Housing Services (beginning at 3 p.m.), say you are with the Stanford Arts Intensive. Your AIPA (Arts Intensive Program Assistant) will meet you upon arrival and provide an orientation to the housing, meal and classroom locations. You will also receive a NY MetroCard for subway transportation. Linens will be provided in double twin bedrooms.
- All students are expected to be ready to begin class at the Stanford in NY classroom: 915 Broadway, Suite 1801 NY, NY 10010 on Tuesday Sept. 4th.
- Make sure that you provide us with the details of your arrival in New York City no later than August 13th (email@example.com).
Upon return to Stanford, you will check into your autumn housing assignment for 2018-19. Arts Intensive (AI) will cover the cost of your transportation back to campus including the fees for one piece of luggage under 50lb. only. We will reach out to you over the summer to coordinate these details. All students are required to return on the same flight and will travel back to Stanford as a group.
Students who do not have a housing assignment for Fall 2018 on campus will need to make alternative housing arrangements. Guidance on that will be provided if you marked in your confirmation that you do not have a campus housing assignment for fall.
