NSC Senior Cindy Liu has been named a 2019-2020 Churchill Scholar

The work of several NSC students was featured in the Stanford Report article, "Students Collaborate with Community Groups in Farmers, Scientists, Activists," an Advanced PWR course with a science communication focus taught by PWR lecturer Erica Cirillo-McCarthy that was offered during winter quarter, 2017. November 2015

Notation in Science Communication coordinator Jenne Stonaker and PWR's Academic Technology Specialist, Megan O'Connor, gave a poster presentation on "Using ePortfolios and Folio-Thinking to Advance Science Communication Skills" at the Association of American Colleges and Universities STEM Conference, "Crossing Boundaries: Transforming STEM Education" in Seattle, WA.

October 2015

At Stanford's Academic Technology Expo, Notation in Science Communication coordinator Jenne Stonaker, Notation in Science Communication lecturer Russ Carpenter, and PWR's Academic Technology Specialist, Megan O'Connor, presented on "ePortfolios and Folio-Thinking: Advancing Science Communication at Stanford."
