Whether they are struggling in their classes or would just like to work more efficiently and effectively, smart Stanford students take full advantage of the richness of resources available to them. This includes investigating and using services that can help you to become a stronger student overall.
Study skills resources to be aware of
- You can peruse study skills tips, take a Study Skills Inventory, learn about the Resilence Project, or make an appointment with a Academic Coach on the Academic Skills Coaching page.
- You can take advantage of Subject-Based Tutoring and Language Practice to set up one-on-one tutoring in certain topics or get practice in a foreign language. The tutoring center also holds drop-in sessions across campus.
- You can also visit the Hume Center for Writing and Speaking for help with oral and written communication in such things as essays, presentations, and applications.
