What is Academic Coaching?

Hume Center for Writing and Speaking
Visit the Hume Center for Writing and Speaking in Building 250 on the main quad. Our expert writing and speaking tutors are available to help both undergrads and graduate students with any kind of writing or speaking assignments. Student-Athlete Tutorial Resources

Center for Teaching and Learning
Beginning in Autumn Quarter 2023, the Center for Teaching and Learning will offer specialized support for students with learning disabilities and ADHD. Support will include specialized academic coaching and tutoring, followed by additional programming later in the year.
Stanford University Mathematical Organization (SUMO)
During Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters, the Stanford University Mathematical Organization (SUMO) offers free tutoring for students in Math 51, 52, 53, 104, and 113.
Subject Tutoring and Foreign Language Practice
To support you in your courses. Find tutoring in ten subjects or book a 1:1 foreign language conversation practice appointment.

Technical Communication Program (School of Engineering)
The Technical Communication Program helps students with their technical writing and/or speaking skills. Though primarily designed for students in engineering, the TCP welcomes interested students from across the university.
