We offer a variety of workshops, and we're able to tailor workshop sessions for individual faculty members, academic programs, or student groups.  Please contact speakinghelp@stanford.edu to request workshops on general speaking skills, effective use of visual aids, or other specialized topics.

Drop-in Vocal Yoga

Students participate in a voice workshop with Tom Freeland

Vocal Yoga is a weekly voice workshop designed to help you get your voice in shape! These sessions are open to the entire Stanford community and resume every quarter. Vocal Yoga will be held on Wednesdays 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the Graduate School of Business in autumn quarter. T.E.A. (Thursday English Afternoons)

Students participate in Thursday English Afternoons (TEA)

These sessions are open to undergraduate and graduate multilingual learners and are held Thursdays, Weeks 3-10 during Autumn, Winter, and Spring from 4:00-5:30pm in the Hume Center for Writing and Speaking, building 250, room 102. Oral communication and writing tutors are available to guide casual English conversation practice. Fall quarter T.E.A. sessions will begin on October 11, 2018. No appointment required!
