Housing and Dining

Main content start

NOTE: The information below describes a typical year. BHC is approved to be on-campus in September 2024, however we are not sure what program-wide events we can offer. Housing and dining details are still TBD.

By participating in Bing Honors College, you are able to move back to campus prior to fall quarter.  We provide the housing and dining while you focus.

Housing

Arrive:  You check into our BHC housing on the first day of the program. Check the BHC Calendar for the move in date, move in hours, and location.

Fall Housing:  The second Thursday of the program, you move into your fall assignment. We reimburse you for the early arrival expense.

Don't have a fall housing assignment?

If you do not have a fall on-campus housing assignment, you need to take responsibility for making your own living arrangements after you move out of BHC housing.

Don't need housing?

Consider registering as a Day Student.

Dining

You will receive a meal plan on your ID. You should contact your Faculty Leader or grad affiliate regarding  arranged lunches. Day students receive a lunch-only meal plan. Both Residential and Day students dine at the Arrillaga Family Dining Commons for the duration of Bing Honors College. Exceptions are the opening and closing ceremonies.

Meals will likely be at Arrillaga Family Dining Commons. Address: 489 Arguello Way. Google Map of Arrillaga Dining Commons
