We offer a variety of workshops, and we're able to tailor workshop sessions for individual faculty members, academic programs, or student groups.  Please contact speakinghelp@stanford.edu to request workshops on general speaking skills, effective use of visual aids, or other specialized topics.

Drop-in Vocal Yoga

Students participate in a voice workshop with Tom Freeland

Vocal Yoga is a weekly voice workshop designed to help you get your voice in shape!  These sessions are open to the entire Stanford community and held Wednesdays from from 12:00 to 1:00 pm in room C-110 in the Graduate School of Business.   Drop in any week, or contact thomas@stanford.edu for more information.

 

T.E.A. (Thursday English Advising)

Students participate in Thursday English Afternoons (TEA)

These sessions are open to non-native English speakers (Stanford undergrads and grad students) and held Thursdays during Weeks 3-10 during Autumn, Winter, and Spring from 4:00-5:30pm in the Hume Center for Writing and Speaking in Building 250. Oral Communication Tutors and writing tutors are available to guide casual English conversation practice. For more information, contact lindsey.yeager@stanford.edu.
